The gifts of North Carolina Baptists to the Mother’s Day Offering bring life-changing hope to hurting patients and families at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. These gifts help patients suffering from serious illness and overwhelming financial need pay their hospital bills – in the name of Jesus Christ and His love. They are drawn closer to Christ in lasting and heartfelt gratitude.

Those you help “fall between the cracks” of assistance. They work hard just to make ends meet and then experience painful hardships when illness strikes. They have too much to qualify for Medicaid or charity care – but not enough to pay their hospital bills. Facing their fears alone, they hear the news of God’s grace, “Your hospital bill has been paid by compassionate and mission-minded North Carolina Baptists in the name of Jesus Christ and His love.”

These testimonies are evidence of this offering's significant value:

“The Mother’s Day Offering saved us financially and gave us hope. What a way to tell others about Jesus and change their lives like they did ours.” – Brad and Sarah St. Clair

“We were drowning and losing hope under the pressure. The Mother’s Day Offering saved us. This was a blessing sent from God that changed our lives.” – Tammy and Eddie Martin

“The bills kept coming and we were so worried. The Mother’s Day Offering was a great blessing and encouraged us to know that God is always there and wants to help us.” – Ricky and Donna Iroler

“The Mother’s Day Offering was an answered prayer that changed our lives and gave us hope.  North Carolina Baptists are being the hands of God, touching people where they hurt, and putting them back on their feet. They really are impacting people’s lives.” – Rev. John Baker

Thank you for being a lifeline of hope through your gifts to this ministry! Thank you for pointing people to Jesus Christ and His great love.
